outfit of the day: back to school

What I wore: Gifted dress & headband Caniche infinity necklace (gifted) Kmart flats Louis Vuitton bag (gifted) Francesca's collection earrings (gifted) Charming Charlie rose gold watch North Carolina Tar Heels tumbler Lily Pulitzer note pad (gifted)    A lot of you are going back to school (I'm not) so I wanted to share a back to school look and some tips/ideas. If you dislike mornings (like I do) having coffee in hand makes for a happier and studious student. Having your good friends in class is essential. You can lean on them for homework, studying, and projects. Also, after your morning class you and your friends can have breakfast or even go out for a sushi lunch. Stay away from friends who are a bad influence. They can influence you quickly to failing path. Your future is way more important than those friends! Keep sticky notes and stationary with you, note taking is great for getting every detail you need in class. Get good sleep! I ho

outfit of the day post: palms print

What I wore: American Eagle button up, Ann Taylor palm printed skirt, shoe show sandals, thrifted bag, Icing bracelets, Caniche bracelet, starfish earrings are from a surf shop from Isle of Palms.   This skirt is an early birthday gift. It was on sale for $10 at Ann Taylor. A great deal! I adore the palm print. It's fitting because it still is summer. I kept the rest of the outfit simple and subdued because the print is the attention grabber. I went for a beach theme with my accessories. I think it goes well with the palm print.   Thanks for reading!

Disney's Epcot

Another part of our Honeymoon at Disney World. Epcot was filled with space and futuristic rides. Space Mountain was one of the popular rides. Riding on a roller coaster in the dark had my heart pumping! We even got on a ride that took us to look at our future. It was pretty entertaining and impressive technology! My husband and I joined together to create a car and got to test ride it on test track. I thought for sure we were going to die. Ha! My husband added all power features to the car to make the car have speed. I wanted efficiency in the car and practical features. After getting in "our car" we surprisingly got 2nd place on the track. I was shocked and very amused.   After the fun rides we continued to travel through 12 countries! Not really. Epcot displays countries in a World showcase. In each country are shops, entertainment, and eatery. We met more princesses and characters from Disney in several countries. My husband and I enjoyed dinner in France, where we ha

Disney World's Animal Kingdom

If you have been following along my wedding series, you know our honeymoon was spent at Disney World. It was my first time going to Animal Kingdom and our first stop of the many Disney parks. I enjoyed Animal Kingdom! The animals are spectacular. Going on the safari made me feel like we had not gone to Disney, but to Africa for a safari tour. I had never been near animals that were not enclosed. You would think it would be scary to be near a lion, however it was thrilling!   Animal Kingdom has a major roller coaster, Mount Everest. You encounter a huge surprise on the ride..I'll keep it secret for you to find out on your trip! I don't get scared on most roller coasters, however I'll admit I dug my nails into my husband's arms and screamed on this ride.   We saw a couple of fun shows: Festival of Lion King and Finding Nemo. The shows were incredible. So full of musical talent, puppetry, and magnificent costumes.   I could not leave without watching the parad
