outfit of the day: wild side

What I wore: gifted black cardigan//banana republic leopard top//blue target jeggings//blue jane monogram clutch// gifted monogram earrings// black marshalls ankle boots   I'm very excited fall is here! It means pumpkin spice, hot coco, candy corn, picking apples, apple cinnamon candles, leaf piles, and bon fires! If you know me, this is the first time i'm wearing leopard print. It is totally not in my comfort zone to wear any sort of animal print. I'm always scared of those prints. My mom bought this top for me and I wanted to give it a try. I liked it! I was able to walk on the wild side and still keep my style. I think if you want to try a print and have the same feelings to give it a try.

I'm 28 today!

Today I am 28! After having a seafood lunch with my family at home, my husband and friend spent the day shopping and lounging in Myrtle Beach.   My family and friends have made this a very special birthday for me, thank you! I am so blessed to have you all in my life!!   My sweet husband has birthday surprises for me all month long, he is just amazing!! Thank you hunnie! (photos from IPhone)

Katie's Bachelorette & Bridal Shower

The last couple of weekends we have been celebrating my friend Katie's upcoming wedding day. She had a beautiful beach themed shower given to her by her mom and sister. They chose a beach theme because her wedding is going to be at the beach! Her daughter gave her a beautiful made card and gift for her mom's "happy bridal shower" (as she called it). The cutest girl! Then we had a fun girl's weekend in Cherokee enjoying the Great Smoky Mountains, the Oconaluftee River, and some gambling. I've never gambled, but this sweet lady taught me how to play the machines and I won $6. I stopped because I really didn't want to push my luck. It was a memorable trip and I can't wait to go again. (see my Instagram pics for more @davongmarie) This weekend we are off to Ocean Isle to Katie and Michael's wedding! I'm so excited for them and I can't wait for their special day. I cannot believe it is here already. It feels like yesterday I got her phone c

our favorite moments from Edisto Island

For my three readers.... you guys thought I fell off the face of the planet. I'm very sorry. I have been trying very hard to post. My husband is my witness. Along with this, I struggle wanting to post all 300 photos, but I won't do that to you! This month we have so many trips, and oh... the job (sad face). I'm still working overtime to put away in savings. I'm not planning on purchasing a luxurious trip to Paris ( I wish!), however my husband and I are saving to purchase a heat pump. And it doesn't hurt to save in case we get canned.... hahahaha! I pray that doesn't happen. Our trip (seems like many moons ago, actually Labor Day) to Charleston and Edisto Island photos are finally posted. This is a trip we take every year, and it's my favorite place! Here are my favorite moments from the trip, check it out... Crabbin in Edisto     Shopping on Meeting Street     Waterfront Park     Battery Park     Shopp
