Alasia's Graduating

I was so thankful to spend time with Alasia & her mom for this graduation session. We got a little rain, but that didn't stop us! We definitely made it work! This session was located on a beautiful campus that we had never been to, but I was just amazed at the beauty of this campus. Alasia was so much fun to capture. We had a great time and shared similar interests in white chocolate and love for Sprite! She will be attending college this fall and her major is the coolest, forensic science! I'm obsessed with forensic files, FBI files, Criminal Minds! I was seriously geeking out. Alasia looks forward to leaving high school and gaining independence at college, however she will miss home. It was a blast capturing this graduate and you should take a look at her class ring. She is wearing the same class ring her Grandmother wore! What a great ring! I loved this session and I think ya'll will too!

music of my heart

My daughter absolutely enjoys music! She is only 9 months, however she enjoys listening to different sounds. I am always amazed with babies and their new sensory learning. She loves touching, hearing, and tasting. We haven't explored smelling activities. I am incorporating a Montessori home experience for Haylee. I purchased a Disney piano and she has a blast, so when we heard the city put 11 pianos around our town we had to make a family outing! The pianos have different themes and are free to play and are displayed in front of retail stores and restaurants downtown. Take your family! We adored looking at the many different themes. Our favorite was this under the sea themed piano. OF COURSE! Haylee's room is designed/inspired by the Little Mermaid and everything we have for her is too. Haha! I have been thinking of her first birthday and it is the Little Mermaid theme too! I'm obsessed! Take a look at her first experience with this piano. It is too precious!! Mid performan

visit to Wat Praznamit

Our family visited Wat Praznamit for a laotion ceremony/ tradition when a person passes away. I am not familiar with the ceremony, however it is a beautiful part of the culture. I grew up in a church, however my parents wanted to still teach me the culture and include me in another community.

haylee's park adventures

I finally had a moment to sit down and post this. I've collected a lot of photos from our park outings and i'm going to put them all here for ya'll. Haha! Sorry! Our little family goes to the park almost every other weekend. We're there or at the library! I love taking Haylee to the park because she gets to explore more than just the four walls of our home and grandma's home. She is using all of her sensory skills!! This girl loves the swing, drums, and bubbles at the park. I'm not sure she is a fan of the small zoo creatures and train at Dan Nick park yet. She also gets a chance to interact with some other kids, which is really hard for her because she doesn't stay in a daycare. Take a look at the photos & like this post if you want to see more of her adventures!
