our east coast adventure

Last week we took our family on a road trip to different cities on the East coast to end it with my little brother's graduation at UMass in Massachusetts. We started in DC, it was Haylee's first time and my mom's first time touring DC. It was a beautiful day seeing the Washington monument, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial and the White House. My mom really enjoyed seeing DC and was very excited being there. I really enjoy visiting the monuments, especially Jefferson and Lincoln! Haylee enjoyed running around the city! I was glad for the hiking gear we carried Haylee in because we walked a bunch! Then we stopped in Philadelphia. We wanted to see the Liberty Bell. It was a beautiful city. I had never been to Philadelphia and it was exciting to visit. I didn't realize it was a national park! The history really came alive and was amazing there. Our next stop was the big apple, New York City! I have been wanting to see Time Square and I'm so glad we expe

Strawberry patch at Patterson Farm

This turned out to be a great day for the Strawberry patch at Patterson Farm! It was cloudy but warm and perfect for picking strawberries. It was calling for rain but we didn't see a drop thankfully. This was an early Mother's Day trip for us. We have come to this farm every year to pick strawberries and i'm so glad we had another great trip!  Haylee told all of her friends she was going to the Strawberry patch and she was so excited! It's the perfect date or family outing. It's for everyone! Picking strawberries in the patch and having a homemade ice cream is a great way to spend quality time together. Hope you enjoy photos from our visit to Patterson Farm!
